AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or organization may appeal the By-law to the Ontario Municipal Board on or before the 4th day of August, 2014 by filing a notice of appeal with the Town Clerk, Carey deGorter, setting out the objection to the By-law and the reasons supporting the objection. Copies of the By-law may be viewed and downloaded from the Town of Caledon's website www.caledon.ca The complete development charges By-law may also be examined at the Town Clerk's Office from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at the address shown below. The By-law came into force and effect on June 25, 2014. The Town development charges imposed by the By-law are as follows: • $22,577 per unit - Single detached, semi-detached, and duplex dwellings • $15,736 per unit -Apartments larger than 70 s.m. • $9,236 per unit -Apartments 70 s.m. or smaller • $18,883 per unit -Other residential dwellings • $37.67 per s.m. -Non-Residential The By-law contains a transition period and transition rates, subject to indexing, for residential development for which: • a building permit application has been submitted to the Townon or before September 15, 2014; AND • a building permit for such development is issued on or before January 15, 2015. The Town wide development charges applies to all lands located within the boundaries of the Town of Caledon so a key map has not been included in this notice. Created to increase accessibility to affordable sporting equipment, the outlet will offer new and used equip- ment at affordable prices for area fam- ilies. "We're tremendously excited about the positive impact this new outlet will have for underprivileged amateur ath- letes in our community," said Robert Wright, CEO of Just4Kics. "Every kid deserves an opportunity to play the sport they love. Our organization is about helping kids pursue their dreams." As a not- for-profit char- ity, Just4Kics re- ceives new and used sporting equipment as in-kind donations. The new outlet will help facilitate the ex- change of goods and point of sale tax receipts for donors. Local donors and customers will now have the opportunity to drop-off and pur- chase equipment at one convenient location. "Our new store will enable those wishing to donate equipment and those wishing to pur- chase equipment to do so easily and at one convenient location," Wright said. "We hope to be able to make a big difference for local kids and kids from across Canada." One hundred per cent of the pro- ceeds derived from the outlet will be used to help amateur athletes pursue their dreams.
