Halton Police are investigating several daylight residential break- ins that occurred in Georgetown over the past few days. On Friday, police say cash and jewelry were taken from a Mc- Intyre Cr. home sometime be- tween 12:30-3 p.m. The lock on a rear door was forced open to gain entry and the home was ran- sacked. Also on Friday, cash and an- tique currency were taken from a Shelley St. home sometime be- tween 11:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The homeowner returned home to find the rear door damaged, the house ransacked and items miss- ing.
