HHH urges people to be wary of in- dividuals soliciting door-to-door claim- ing to be part of saveONenergy and asking to inspect residents' homes or furnaces. HHH and saveONenergry do not so- licit door-to-door. Anyone who is solicited by phone or at the door, should not provide any per- sonal information, including their Hal- ton Hills Hydro account number and shouldn't let anyone into their home unless they are sure of their identity. SaveONenergy is a province-wide energy conservation program coordi- nated by the Ontario Power Author- ity. In Halton Hills this program is ad- ministered exclusively by HHH. There are a number of programs available including incentives for heating and cooling system upgrades. If you are in- terested in learning more about these programs, visit the HHH website at haltonhillshydro.com. If you receive suspicious solicitation by phone or at the door, call HHH at 519-853-3701 or report the scam to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre at 1-888- 495-8501. Halton Hills Hydro issues warning about door-to-door marketing scam Police are investigating a break and en- ter into Nu Optik on Guelph St. early Fri- day in which several glasses were stolen. A rock was thrown through the front door of the store to gain entry. Halton Police say approximately 50 pairs of glasses were stolen and 30 pairs were damaged. Break-in in business on Friday Det.
