FLOWERS & GIFTS 4 Main St S Acton 519-853-5534 bloomsawayflowersandgifts.com Ro Palumbo-Coates Georgetown Little Theatre Everyone enjoys a comedy, but the best, the coolest way to enjoy one is: LIVE (see ad on page xx) Featured here is Ro Palumbo-Coates, President of Georgetown's own Little Theatre, which kicks off its funny 54th season with "Always a Bridesmaid" written by the team who wrote TV's "The Golden Girls". Ro likens a theatrical production - from comedy to drama and everything in between - to planning a wedding. She explains: "Director Carol Beauchamp is like the bride, in that it is her show, her vision from reading and "falling in love with" the script! The Mother of the Bride is probably the Producer, Gina Van Raalte, in whose capable hands some of the background details are attended to, such as assembling the crew who will build and paint the set and the costume, lighting, sound and props people whose imagination and creativity is frequently astounding. Of course, the cast are the bridesmaids…" We are all volunteers, just folks who like to play. At GLT we create the magic that is Live Theatre, right here at home in Halton Hills." Ro invites you to Laugh Local, by enjoying our shows from the best seats at the John Elliott Theatre, or backstage, or maybe even ON STAGE. We may be "Little", but we play BIG.
