Each year, Norval celebrates the life and works of famous Canadian author Lucy Maud Montgomery, a former Norval resident from 1926-1935. Montgomery was born November 30, 1874 and the village honours the author on her birthday or as close to her birth date each year. This year's event will feature a new play, honouring Montgomery-- A Kindred Spirit Christmas-- performed by the Spirit of Maud Theatre Company, 3:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Par- ish Hall.
