And here's the part that will make you most proud: We believe in using our profits to make a positive financial, social and environmental impact on the communities we all call home. That's called cooperative banking. And it's so much bigger than the other kind. Find out more about a better banking alternative at tandia.com or call 1.800.598.2891. This year they are offering six monologues and three plays, directed and produced by the talented young members all under the age of 18. This year's three One Acts are very unique: • 14, written by Alice Gerstenberg, directed by Tyler Anderson and Samantha Burwell follows Mrs. Pringle, a wealthy socialite who tries to plan a dinner party for 14 people but due to a snow storm a number of her guests cancel and ruin her plans. With the help of her daughter and butler, they try to get their num- bers back up to the ever elusive14. • King Arthur's Socks, written by Floyd Dell, directed by Hunter Carson is a mod- ernization of the classic Camelot lore. King Arthur's Socks brings the age-old story to the roaring '20s. While out of town, Arthur King's wife Guinevere learns that her husband's best friend Lancelot Jones has been up to no good and seeks to find out more about the scandal- ous affair at hand. • Post It, written by Paul Dooley, directed by Matias Warton. A couple's post-it notes to each other takes you through the joys and sor- rows of their lives together. Dates for these plays are Nov. 27, 28 & 29 at 7:30 p.m. with a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday, Nov. 29. Call 905-877-3422 for ticket, $10. GLT YC One-Act play festival returns this week
