First off we have a mystery to be solved-- the missing 100 forks. Do you know where they might be? If you have any idea where someone may have hidden them please let the Office know otherwise you might be the one eating with your fingers at the next dinner. Speaking of food you will be happy to know that "Beyond the Door" will be continuing to serve dinner and lunch once per month. First dinner will be on Monday, Jan. 26 (5:30 p.m.), and lunch on Wednesday, Jan. 21. The cost is $10 and includes entree, dessert, tea/coffee, payable when you sign up at Reception. Membership renewals are due as of Jan. 1. If you have not re- newed by Jan. 30, your name will be removed from the 50/50 draw. You are also reminded that you must be a paid-up member to take part in any drop-in activities. Heather Beaumont, our Vol- unteer Coordinator, will be in the Centre Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This position is due to the Trillium Grant we received. Vinitha Nau will be at the Cen- tre the second Tuesday afternoon of each month. She will be happy to speak with you regarding any questions and concerns you have concerning brain health. The Grandpal program is seek- ing French speaking volunteers for one hour, twice a month to partner with French Immersion students from a Grade 5 class in Huntsville. Lunch will be sup- plied. Pizza is available on Fridays for lunch. The kitchen serves up sandwiches on Tuesday and hot soup on Thursday as well. Tea, coffee and cookies are always available. Come on in and share lunch or a cuppa hot java. Newsletter will be available on Jan. 30. By Florence Riehl Georgetown Active Living Centre Beyond the Door resumes serving lunch, dinner at the ALC
