COMMUNITY INSPIRE HALTON: had been working with youth in North Halton for over two years but, on January 9 2015, they officially became a nonprofit corporation with Industry Canada. Inspire Halton works to develop youth leadership through community events and programs, including their Talent Bash, which has run at the Roxy in Acton the past two years. "This is just great," says Founder and Director Alex Hilson. "The youth are ecstatic and we're excited to continue to be growing and helping in our community." In the past, Inspire Halton has partnered with the Georgetown Hospital Foundation, the 1st Georgetown Scouts and the Friends of Devereaux House.
