There is no doubt we will be able to put it to good use. As you have already read or heard we were successful in acquiring extra space in our present location. It won't be long before you hear the sounds of construc- tion as changes are to be made. It is hoped it will all be ready for our Open House Week in September. Sounds like a long way ahead but time has a habit of going by quickly. The Antiques Appraisal Roadshow is being hosted by your Centre on March 25, 5-8 p.m. It is open to all area residents and is an opportunity to have your antiques and heirlooms evaluated and find out if the treasures you have been hanging onto are worth as much as you hope or even more. The cost is $5 per item. To regis- ter contact the Centre at 905-877-6444 or drop in and sign up. Plans are under way for the ever popu- lar Pancake Breakfast to be held on Satur- day, March 28. Service goes from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tickets of $6 may be purchased in advance from Reception but will be avail- able at the door. This event is open to ev- eryone who loves pancakes, sausages and maple syrup. The next evening movie night will be March 11 (second Wednesday of the month). Movie time is 6 p.m. Tickets are $3 member, $5 non-member. Includes movie, pop, and popcorn. Phone the Cen- tre, 905-877-6444 to find out what is show- ing. The next Friday Afternoon Toonie Mov- ie (March 6) is "Winter's Tale" starring Russell Crowe and Colin Farrell. Sounds like a really good one. By Florence Riehl Georgetown Active Living Centre
