Job seekers are invited to bring their résumés and prepare to meet with more than 40 local employers. "Halton Region has one of the lowest un- employment rates in all of North America and we'll continue to provide opportuni- ties, like our most recent job fair, for both job seekers and Halton employers to be successful in Halton," said Halton Regional Chair Gary Carr. "By attracting and retaining jobs, while connecting job seekers with em- ployers, we're on track to keep Halton a great place to live and work." Employers participating in this year's job fair are from a range of industries including technology, government, manufacturing, retail, hospitality sector and healthcare sec- tors and Halton Region is expecting approxi- mately 1,000 skilled and motivated job seek- ers to attend.
