However with that comes ticks and fleas and soon mosquitoes too. Call us today to set up an appointment to have your dog's heartworm test done and we can discuss the prevention that is best suited for the needs of your pet. Although there is reduced risk for household cats to be exposed to heartworm disease, they do need flea protection! COMMUNITY Wild Goose Squadron to 'tag' at various locations this weekend This coming weekend, Friday, April 16 to Sun- day, April 19, Georgetown Air Cadets-- 756 Wild Goose Squadron-- will be found around town at multiple locations as part of a Squadron Fundrais- ing activity known as "tagging". This involves the voluntary donation of any spare change people may have, in exchange for an "I Support Air Cadets" tag. The truly unique feature of the cadet program is its universal accessibility with no registration fees or uniform costs. The Department of National Defense provides some financial support. Howev- er, the squadron is responsible to raise additional funds in order to be able to offer a comprehensive program. The majority of operating funds are gen- erated through bi-annual Tag Day fundraisers, and thus the importance of the Tagging weekends for the Squadron's continued success. Founded in Georgetown in 1969, 756 Wild Goose Squadron cadets are actively engaged in weekly training and extra community events. Please support your local Air Cadets.
