Approximately 11 tonnes of garbage and three tonnes each of tires, wood and metal were collected during the Community Clean-Up throughout Halton Hills on Saturday. There were 38 registered groups and 21 schools taking part, which is down a little from last year when there were 46 groups and 22 schools registered. However, clean-up of the commu- nity continued Wednesday (Earth Day) with the 22-Minute Makeover and Town Public Works staff will be picking up that litter and debris over the next couple days. More photos from the day are posted online, www.theifp.ca Photo by Jon Borgstrom
