We are now able to hold several pro- grams or events simultaneously. He praised the expanded kitchen, which enables us to prepare lunches and snacks. He also talked about how valuable the Health and Wellness room is and how convenient (no more driv- ing out of town for appointments). Also present were Wendy Krever, Co- ordinator of the Centre, Samantha Klein- schmidt, Manager of Halton Hills Recreation Services, and Terri Forbes, Co-ordinator of the Georgetown Centre. Our Spring Bazaar is this weekend. Hope- fully we will see many of you there. If you had your name down to donate items for the tea table can you please make sure it is at the Centre by Friday. Wilda is quite excited by some of the beautiful collectables and gold jewelry that has been donated to the jewelry table. On May 26, we will be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Centre with an Open House from 2-5 p.m. There will be dis- plays, and a slide show and what occasion is complete at the Centre without food. There will be light refreshments available. Georgetown will be holding their Open House on Thursday, May 28, 2-5 p.m. If you are new to the area and haven't visited our Centre this is your golden opportunity to find out what we have to offer you! Looking to give a "Little Lift" to your Spring outfits? 5th Avenue will be here on Monday, May 11, 1:30 p.m. with their collec- tion of jewelry. I understand all items will be half price, which means now is the perfect time to buy something for yourself or a gift for a friend. Movie lovers don't forget that Show Time for our monthly movie, My Old Lady, is Tuesday, May 12 at 1:30 p.m. Our Spring Social Dinner is on Thursday May 14. The cut-off date for tickets is noon on Wednesday, May 13th. On May 19 the Men's Breakfast club will have the chance to don hard hats and have a tour of the Arena construction site.
