This year there were more than 70 art submissions from students. There were two categories for which the art work was judged. The junior category included submissions completed by indi- viduals in Grades 6-9 and the senior category were Grades 10- 12 students. In each of the two categories, award winners were selected by Mayor Rick Bonnette, MYAC committee members, and local artist Carole Warfield. Mayor's Choice Award for the junior category: Andrea Gallant for her piece "Beauty Pageant". Local Artist's Choice Award in the Senior Category: Maya Venters for her piece "Wall-E".
