The annual festival is held in Septem- ber and includes readings for all ages and outreach activities. The support is pro- vided through the Canada Arts Presenta- tion Fund. Michael Chong, Wellington-Halton Hills MP, made the announcement re- cently on behalf of Shelly Glover, Min- ister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages. "For almost three decades, the Eden Mills Writers' Festival has been bringing the best of Canadian literature to beau- tiful, bucolic Wellington County," said Chong. "The federal government has been supporting the Festival for years, and this year, once again, is providing a grant to support this festival of Canadian writers." The 27th-annual Eden Mills Writers' Festival is set for Sept. 11-13.
