Develop your child with dance! IN BRIEF Canada Glen Day is coming! The volunteers who run Canada Day are busy getting everything ready for this year's event. The day starts with a pancake break- fast in the Ball Park, put on by the members of the Glen Minor Ball Association, followed by a fun ball game between Glen residents and Glen Williams Alumni. There will be the usual array of crafts for sale, a historical walking tour of the Glen con- ducted by Mark Rowe and childrens games in the park. Then there is the parade. Always a feature of the Glen Canada Day, it forms up on the roads behind Preston's Store, and moves off from Alexander Street at noon, fin- ishing at St. John's Church. Following the parade, there will be the usual opening ceremonies, the presentation of the Glen Citizen Of The Year, and the cut- ting of the cake, which was donated by the Glen Oven. The afternoon will be filled with a demon- stration from The Toronto Morris Men, face painting, a visit from the Pick Pocket Magic, and family games at the back of the ball dia- mond.
