SHERIDAN NURSERIES IS JUNE'S BUSINESS OF THE MONTH: Sheridan Nurseries was nominated and selected as the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month for June. Just having cel- ebrated its 100th anniversary last year, Sheridan Nurseries remains under the original ownership, the Stensson family, with nine Garden Centres in the Toronto area. The 900-acre facility on Tenth Line employs about 20 seasonal workers in its Garden Centre. The outdoor shopping area has the largest selection of annuals, perennials and specialty plants in the area and is open from April until Christmas. Norm Paget, member of the Chamber of Commerce Membership Services Committee and Steven Prestipino, Chair of the Board of Directors, present the Business of the Month award to John Reiter, Sheridan Nurseries Garden Centre Manager (celebrating 41 years with the company) and Eduardo Rivero-Yon, assistant Garden Centre Manager.
