The interactive video supports the Town's ongoing implementation of recommendations from the Youth Needs Study. Youth engagement was identified in the study as one of the five main areas of focus and aims at connecting youth as partners in the delivery of services, decision making processes and community events. The video will assist in supporting youth en- gagement and the voice of youth in Halton Hills. "We recognize the importance of youth in- volvement and want to foster the opportunity for engaging youth in local committees, initiatives and projects," said Mayor Rick Bonnette. Through the strategies and tools provided in the "Engaging Youth in Halton Hills" video the Town of Halton Hills hopes to assist individu- als and organizations in providing meaningful engagement opportunities for young people.
