The addition of a third track on McNabb St. is designed to improve Georgetown GO service on the Kitchener line. The bulk of the construc- tion will be completed in summer and fall of 2015. This includes widening the McNabb St. Bridge, extending the Silver Creek Culvert and constructing a retaining wall along the corridor. Track and signals work will be completed next summer. Sue Walker filed her nomination papers on Monday. At press time, no other candidates had filed. Also on the Sept. 21 ballot will be Robert Bedard, Geoff Maltby and Terry Jackson. Sue Walker enters by-election Halton Hills Fire Department respond- ed to the report of an unknown odour on Morningside Dr. in Georgetown at 12:09 p.m. on Monday, June 29. On scene, firefighters met with the caller who advised that there was a smell of cooking between the houses.
