The Mayor's Community Energy Plan's main objective is to reduce energy use and the associated greenhouse gas emissions within Town facilities, as well as, across the commu- nity. Converting the Town's streetlights to LED technology will make a significant contribu- tion to meeting this objective and reaching the Town's targets. The conversion project is expected to start in September, taking approximately nine (9) months to complete. The Town currently has approximately 3,880 Cobra Style and 570 dec- orative High Pressure Sodium luminaires that would be converted to LED luminaires.
