Employees at Ontario Medical Imaging, located in the Georgetown Professional Arts office building on Sinclair Ave. on the east side of the Market Place mall, were startled by a car smashing through a large window at around 11 a.m. One staff member, who didn't want her name used, said the accident occurred when a child darted out into the parking area, causing the vehicle to swerve to avoid hitting the youngster, but colliding with another vehicle and coming to rest inside the office of Ontario Medical Imaging. She added that this was the third time that an inci- dent like this has happened at that office building in the past decade and requests have been made to the management company to erect some sort of barrier to prevent a similar occurrence. No word on whether any charges will be laid. Halton Hills Fire Department had responded to the incident and reported there were no injuries and there was no structural damage to the building. A crew remained on scene to clean up the glass and set up a safety perimeter. Photo by Eamonn Maher
