Mary is an accomplished senior executive with an impressive record of fundraising success and more than 15 years experience in the charitable giving community at both the local and national level. Most recently, she held the position of Chief Development Officer and Vice President Fundraising at The Arthritis Society where she oversaw the management of a national program responsible for fundraising in excess of $14M annually. Prior to The Arthritis Society, Ms. McPherson held a variety of progressively senior level positions including Vice President Development at Credit Valley Hospital Foundation where she was part of the campaign team who successfully raised $52 million for a new cancer centre. She has also held management positions with the CNIB, Kids Help Phone and the United Way. "I am very excited to be joining the Georgetown Hospital Foundation," says Ms. McPherson. "It will be a tremendous privilege to return to community fundraising and support the vital role of the community hospital. I look forward to acquainting myself with Georgetown Hospital and its supporters, and building on the wonderful successes of the Foundation."
