The family of Addison Jenner Rolke is in the process of establishing a fund in her name called Addison's Wish Foundation that will be directed to charities that provide support for families with hospitalized chil- dren and cancer prevention. A park bench dedicated to Addison will soon be installed at the Georgetown branch of the Halton Hills Public Library. Close to $2,000 was raised at Silver Creek for Addison's Wish Foundation and a little more than $2,300 in contributions came from the school's Terry Fox Run, with money still to come in. Donations to the Addison's Wish Foun- dation can be made by calling Silver Creek secretary Julie Marrows at 905-877-0151. A group of Grade 5 students made sure their shoelaces were done up tightly prior to heading out on the Terry Fox Run last Thursday on the grounds of Silver Creek Public School.
