Photo by Ray Lavender OPP investigating deaths of Halton Hills firefighter and wife Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have be- gun a criminal investigation into the deaths of Halton Hills firefight- er Trevor McNally and his wife Su- sanne McNally and a fire in their Eden Mills home. Officers began their investiga- tion after the spouses were re- moved from their house on Friday morning and pronounced dead upon arrival at hospital. Police were called to the home at 31 Low- rie Lane in Eden Mills, just after 9 a.m. after a report of a fire at the home. An autopsy was conducted on Sunday at a Hamilton hospital and police have not yet released results. On Monday morning, an OPP spokesperson said they were un- able to comment on whether the fire caused the deaths of the Mc- Nallys. The OPP issued a statement Saturday saying they do not con- sider there to be a threat to public safety. Trevor McNally, 44, was a fire- fighter in Halton Hills while Su- sanne McNally, 45, worked as a legal assistant. Fire damage to their home was reportedly confined to the interior.
