Band members include local musicians Ben Hannah (guitarist), Kyle Hannah (guitarist), Collette Andrea (bassist), Jordan MacKin- non (keyboardist) and Steve Baker (drummer). Rooted by the great music of the 1960s and '70s, Silver Creek Folk is often known for their powerful four-part harmonies and classic rock rhythms. The album features five original tracks, including the latest single, Don't Go Alone, which was released last week. "We have a good time, and our music reflects that," stated the band. "It's rock 'n' roll, you live it, and the music writes itself." Over the past couple of years, the band has played all across Ontario including past performances in Georgetown at the McGibbon Hotel and at this past summer's Rock The Hills mu- sic festival. The show, held at the John El- liott Theatre, starts off with a bang as 60 kids (ages 7 to 11), present the Christmas musical, The Loaned Manger, complete with cos- tumes, sets and chore- ography set to lively, rock music. Filled with ultra-hip songs and an incred- ible "Wild West" Christ- mas story, audiences will surely join the kids when they shout "Yee- Haw!". Throw in some line dancing, a small town Sheriff and the Star of the Show (Baby Jesus, of course!) and everyone will have a great time. Conducting the choir for this 24th Christmas concert is Music Director, Dale Wood. Joanna Fra- ser, director of Globe's summer camps and a professional actress/ singer, is the Artistic Director of show.
