Photo by Eamonn Maher Two tellers assaulted during armed robbery of Acton bank Halton Police continue to search for a suspect who they say as- saulted two bank tellers during an armed robbery of a Bank of Montreal in Acton. According to police, on Fri- day (Dec. 18) at approximately 5 p.m., a lone masked suspect entered the Bank of Montreal branch located at 21 Mill St. E. Once inside the suspect bran- dished a � rearm and demanded money. A quantity of cash was turned over to a male suspect, who then � ed the scene on foot in an un- known direction. During the course of the inci- dent, police say two bank tellers were assaulted by the suspect, sustaining minor injuries. � e suspect is described as male, black, in his early 20s, ap- proximately 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 tall, with a thin build and wear- ing a black balaclava, grey hood- ie sweater, black pants and grey high top shoes.
