Donations have been re- ceived totalling over $5,000 which has been distributed to 12 qualifying students of the arts for their education and/ or lessons. The fifth-annual concert featuring more local gifted artists will take place this Saturday starting at 7 p.m. at Knox Presbyterian Church, 44 Main St. N. Acton. Canadian crooner Monty Greig will be the headliner, along with keyboard melo- dies of Dave Mashinter and Michael Chang, violinists Nic- ola and her sister Lauren Ala- rie, guitarist and vocalist Eric Walton, the Robert Little Glow Choir, Improv Group from Ac- ton High School, the Hazzard family, fitness expert Leanne Monaghan, author Marilyn (Temmer) Rognvaldson. There will also be a display of paintings by Ruth Kranen- donk and William Band, and photos by George Wang. On the same night, an art competition will be taking place for those under 14 years of age. Following the show, all are welcome to mingle and enjoy light refreshments.
