These events will feature Cindy McDonell, Chief Operating Officer of the Georgetown Hospital speaking about how the patient ex- perience is being transformed at GH. "Our Georgetown Hospital has always en- joyed the unwavering support of the community we serve. In 2014, thanks to an incredibly col- laborative community partnership involving the Town of Halton Hills, our Georgetown Volunteer Association and the Georgetown Hospital Foun- dation, we successfully expanded our Hospital's Emergency Department, purchased our first CT Scanner, renovated and expanded the Diagnos- tic Imaging Department, and introduced new digital mammography technology," said Cindy McDonell, Chief Operation Officer of GH. "This momentous effort has provided our hospital with new technology and more func- tional treatments spaces so our growing com- munity can access more medical services, closer to home. It has also allowed us to start trans- forming the patient experience at our hospital." "The Georgetown Hospital is the heart of our community-- always there when we need it to provide high quality, compassionate care," said Allan Kogon, Board Chair of the Georgetown Hospital Foundation. "Our Georgetown Hospital Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that our hospital is equipped to offer top-quality, compassion- ate healthcare for everyone today and into the future. Our efforts help put vital new medical equipment into the hands of our clinicians." The breakfast will be held at Acton Town Hall on Tuesday, Feb. 9 from 7:30-8:45 a.m. On Thursday, Feb. 11, the event will be held at The Club at North Halton, also from 7:30-8:45 a.m. "These breakfasts are a great opportunity to learn about the Georgetown Hospital and our Foundation, meet Cindy and hear some of her inspiring stories-- and we can do it together over a hot plate of pancakes," added Mr. Kogon. "What a great way to start the day. We invite everyone to join us!" Everyone attending the event is asked to please RSVP by contacting Jennifer McNally at jmcnally@haltonhealthcare.com or (905) 873- 0111 ext. 8241.
