Contributed by Atom Select Thunder hockey Playing against some of the top- ranked minor development teams in the province, the Halton Hills minor bantam select Thunder emerged victorious from its 12-team division at the Oshawa Church Hockey League last weekend. The Thunder skated past the Whitby Wildcats 3-1 in the semifinal before clinching the title with a thrilling 2-1 win over the Ajax Knights in the champion- ship game. The coaching staff consists of Craig Boland, Kenny Leibel and Stan Gaweda, along with team manager Andy Adams.
