He is survived by his loving wife, Rikki Walsh, of 23 years, his parents, Roy and Nina Bartlett, his sister, Krista Bartlett, his brother in-law, Anthony Farragos, his niece Nadia Farragos, h i s n e p h e w s N o a h a n d L u c a s Farragos and many other family members living in Newfoundland and abroad. Matt was born in St. John's, NL and spent most of his life there. A passion that Matt had from a young age was for sound and music, which led him to work, for some years, as an audio visual technician. Matt returned to school and graduated as a Mechanical Engineer. He worked for some time in Ontario at the Chalk River Nuclear facility, before moving to British Columbia. In BC, Matt took a position with Redflex Traffic Systems, where he thoroughly enjoyed his work. Matt had a number of hobbies, which included listening to all genres of music as well as collecting a large number of vinyl albums. He had an in-depth knowledge of speakers and he designed and built them in his spare time. He also liked to collect antique speakers and recondition them. Cremation will be held for Matthew at the Amherst Funeral and Cremation Services, Port Coquitlam, BC. Kenneth led a fascinating life, spending his first seven years in India with his brother Jaffray and elephant Muni, before moving to England. He served in the Royal Navy on a minesweeper off the c o a s t o f I t a l y i n W W I I . H e emigrated to Canada in 1947 where he owned and managed Wood & Kirkpatrick Insurance Brokerage in Toronto for 45 years. Ken was an avid cottager, skier, hiker, judo and yoga practitioner, and a world sailor who single- handed across the Atlantic. Ken was predeceased by his first wife Mary Rose Ross (nee Kirkpatrick), and is survived by his wife Sandra Ross (née Neil), children Celia Medcalf (Alan), Jane Ross, Brian Ross (Conny), and David Ross, Carolyn Smith (Mark), and Megan Smith (Ter ry ) ; g randch i ldren Laura, Robin, Alexander, Julian, Alexandra, Devin, Tait, Calla and Ellie; great grandchildren Brody, Max, Zachary, Chelsea.
