The proposed Zoning By-law Amendment application applies to the lands legally described as Lot 277, MUP 1098; Part Lots 1 to 4, Block 15, Plan 31, Town of Halton Hills, Regional Municipality of Halton. The subject lands are municipally known as 12 Church Street East (Acton). Below is a map showing the location of the subject property. The purpose and effect of the application is to rezone the lands to allow for the development of 12 residential townhouse units (3-storeys) located along a private laneway. Please be advised that a Site Plan application (D11SPA17.010) has also been submitted by the Applicant to facilitate the development of the proposed townhouses. If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Town of Halton Hills in respect to the Zoning By-law amendment application, you must make a written request to the Town of Halton Hills - PLANNING & SUSTAINABILITY DEPARTMENT at 1 Halton Hills Drive, Halton Hills, Ontario L7G 5G2. NOTES: 1. If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Council of the Town of Halton Hills to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Halton Hills before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision. 2. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town of Halton Hills before the proposed Zoning By-law amendment is adopted/passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so. 3. Any written comment/objection submitted to the Town of Halton Hills regarding these applications which are being processed under the Planning Act 1990, may be made public as part of the application process.
