This Committee is required by the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, to consider applications requesting financial audits of candidate campaigns and third party advertisers in the 2018 Municipal Election. The Committee may be required to appoint auditors and determine if legal proceedings are required as a result of the auditors' report. In order to be considered for appointment to this Committee, the application form must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, August 17, 2018 by the Regional Clerk - Halton Region. Filing of nomination forms to take place at the Clerk's Office - Service Halton Hills Counter. 81 A prescribed fee which may be refundable, in the amount of $200.00 for Mayoral candidates and $100.00 for all other candidates payable by cash, certified cheque, money order, or by debit, must accompany the nomination form as well as 25 signatures endorsing the nomination.
