The school was founded in 2004, and in 2009 opened its doors at 77 Market Street after substantial upgrades and renovations were undertaken to adapt to its current purpose. Former Director of Visual Arts Mississauga CaroleWarfield joined us in 2010 to expand and enhance the Georgetown Art Express program. Built in 1877 by William Watson, the structure was originally designed and used as a Methodist church. In its lifetime it has enjoyed many and varied incarnations: an Oddfellowshall, a silentmovie theatre, several restaurants, and now a Montessori school and art instruction studio. For more information about our Montessori school, please visit the Inkwell Montessori Schoolwebsite. CASA & Toddler Programs - Dr. Montessori believed that each child has within himself or herself a unique potential that is revealed as the child grows and develops his or her interests. We offer remote administrative support to growing businesses, entrepreneurs, busy professionals, and individuals who need some extra support with their personal tasks. So many entrepreneurs, execs and professionals feel the stress or burnout of trying to do it all - especially when they don't have office space, or perhaps don't need full - or even part-time - support. AdminHeroes can bridge that gap. We love supporting growing businesses, helping people find a little more work/life balance while taking things off their plate. We also take pride in offering personal support to busy individuals - parents, entrepreneurs, professionals, etc. Life gets busy and we can help with ordering groceries, meal planning, ordering gifts, and personal calendar management. It's easy to get buried under the never-ending to-do list, whether personal or professional, and AdminHeroes loves to help ease stress and find a little more balance. Since I grew up in Georgetown and still live here, it's nice to contribute to the community. If we can help local businesses grow and thrive by offering support and organization that they would have otherwise missed out on, that just feels good. I chose this career because of the positive effects it offers to so many, from our staff to our clients. I believe life is about balance. Unfortunately, most of us enter careers so eager and excited about the possibilities and goals, but we end up putting all of our time and attention into that one thing. Almost everyone has admin tasks on their to-do list that take up valuable time - time that could be spent growing your business, enjoying with your family or resting and refuelling your mind and body. From an internal business perspective, our staff are mostly working moms with at least 5-years administrative experience who are looking for work/life balance that enables them to be home for their children and schedule their time accordingly. I really love offering women the option to have both by keeping active employment and current skills, and being home for their kids and family. Halton Hills is growing - and that's wonderful! But, there are still a lot of people who commute out of town for work and/or services. To create local job opportunities, as well as service offerings, is really important.
