21| The IFP -H alton H ills | T hursday,A ugust 2,2018 theifp.ca Happy 50th Birthday Jenny-Lynne! Love, Mom POWER OF THE BELIEVER John 1:12 "But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on His name." Ephesians 1:19 "And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power." The kingdom of God is the kingdom of power and God has made this power available to us as His children. It is this power that makesmiracles happen, healing, signs and wonders to manifest. The power is available to those that believe and have received Him as Lord and saviour. Do you want God to intervene in your situation and manifest His power on your behalf? Receive Him as your Lord and saviour and have faith in Him. Today the church is powerless because people have stopped having faith in the power of the word of God and what He can do. The word od God says with God nothing is impossible and nothing shall be impossible to those who believe. Have expectation, pray for His intervention, worship Him, study the bible, evangelise, confess and profess the word and the word shall become flesh to you. You are blessed of the Lord and in the name of the Lord. Unit 5 - 332, Guelph Street Georgetown, ON. But knowledge and support is power. The Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) offers support and information for people with cancer and their loved ones. In 2017-18, $51.4 million was invested in information, pro- grams and services that helped thousands of Canadians. The funds from generous donors helped CCS respond to 43,000 questions by phone and email through the Cancer Informa- tion Service (CIS). Since its inception in 1996, the CIS has answered almost 1.3 million inquiries about cancer. Cancer can be difficult to un- derstand and coping can be stressful. It can help to talk to someone who can give you cur- rent and reliable information. Cancer information special- ists can provide information about: . Treatments and side effects . Clinical trials . Coping with cancer . Emotional support services . Prevention . Help in the community . Complementary therapies The CIS is a national, toll- free service available to cancer patients, caregivers, families and friends, the general public and health-care professionals. The service is available Mon- day to Friday in English and French. For other languages, an interpreter service is acces- sible. To ask questions or find an- swers, visit cancer.ca or call toll-free at 1-888-939-3333. COMMUNITY CCS OFFERS SUPPORT TO THOSE DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER PLEASE RECYCLE THIS PAPER
