They say the skunky smell of marijuana has been hanging in the air intermittently for nearly a year, and now, the town of Halton Hills has notified them that a cannabis production facility is operating in the old mill across the street. Notices posted on the front door of 1 Rosetta St. indicate that the building is the site of a proposed marijuana operation, and a letter mailed out to residents states that the owners are applying to have the facility conform to the town's by- laws. "We can't even sit out here some nights, it's so strong," said one resi- dent living across the street. "If I had my choice, I wouldn't let it be here." Other residents were shocked to learn that the facility existed and had not noticed any smell in the past year.
