The 2019 Budget continues our 12-year track record of keeping property tax increases at or below the rate of inflation. It includes a 1.9 per cent increase to support investments in Regional programs (such as waste management, Paramedic Services, Services for Seniors and community health and social services) and transportation infrastructure. It also includes a 3.7 per cent rate increase for services to support a state of good repair for water and wastewater infrastructure.
