PROJECT SUPERVISOR Responsible for the planning, coordination, direction and supervision of project operations, this individual should have a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in road and highway construction. The successful candidate would have working knowledge and experience with both Municipal and MTO contract work. Experience in all aspects of roadwork including excavation, granular, concrete and paving along with structures and underground would be an asset. GRADE FOREMAN Responsible for the coordination of grading activities, this individual should have a minimum of 5 years experience in road building construction. Experience in reading contract drawings, grading templates and cross sections as well as site layout is a necessity. The candidate must also possess the skills necessary to direct heavy building equipment and trucks in a fast paced environment. ASPHALT MILLING/GRINDING FOREMAN Responsible for the supervision, coordination and leadership of the crew while grinding and profiling asphalt highways, roadways and parking lots , this individual must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the operation and maintenance of asphalt milling machines. The successful applicant will possess strong leadership and organizational abilities necessary to direct a crew in a fast paced environment. SEWER FOREMAN AND PIPE LAYER Responsible for the supervision, coordination and leadership of the crew while constructing various underground services such as sanitary, storm and watermains , this individual must have experience with underground work and should possess strong leadership and organizational abilities. CARPENTER, FORMSETTER,CONCRETE FINISHER Working with either the structure or sidewalk and curb crews, these individuals would have 5 -10 years experience constructing sidewalk, curb, barrier wall, medians, headwall and/or concrete structures such as buildings, bridges and culverts. HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATORS Responsible for the operation and general maintenance of heavy construction equipment, we have openings for individuals with a minimum of 5 years experience as equipment operator for the following: • Grader •Excavator • Dozer • Loader • Rubber Tire Backhoe Truck and Coach Mechanic Heavy equipment experience would be an asset.
