Halton regional police are investigating an incident that took place around 10 p.m. on April 20. Halton emergency services personnel responded to reports that a man had fallen and struck his head near the intersection of Mill Street and Frederick Street in Ac- ton. When EMS arrived, they found the man unconscious and in medical distress. A 48-year-old man was transported by ambulance to hospital where he remains in critical condition. The circumstances surrounding the in- cident remain under investigation. Halton police have asked anyone with information regarding the incident to con- tact Det. Sgt. This year, the Town of Halton Hills will focus on upgrading roads in Georgetown. "I recognized the disruption that comes with this type of construction but continual investment in our infrastructure is one way we manage our assets and extend their longevity."
