Andrew had a passion for walking his dogs, fishing, computers. Loving wife of the late Dorance Matheson. Predeceased by her parents, Chuck and Fern Shultis. Mother of Steven (Anna) Matheson and Jane (Dave) Butson. Proud grandmother of Nicole and Alex Matheson; and Eric, Matthew and Josh Butson. Dear sister of Bruce (Debi) Shultis and Roy (Liz) Shultis. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was the beloved babysitter to many local Acton children. Diane was a lifelong Acton resident and worked at the Beardmore tannery until its closure. CORNEY, (Jerry) Gerald Charles Arthur Gerald Corney, known to his friends as Jerry, peacefully passed away on Thursday August 29, 2019. Jerry was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario. He was a member of the Leander Boat Club and never lost his love of rowing on Hamilton's beautiful west harbour. After graduating from McMaster University, he became a respected and loved teacher and principal in the Peel region. Jerry's helpful, friendly and talkative nature combined with his gardening and maintenance skills endeared him to his family, friends and neighbours in Mississauga, Georgetown and St. Catharines. Jerry was uniquely devoted to and passionately loved his late wife, Michelle. When one thinks of Jerry, one cannot help but remember his bulldog and constant companion, Max. Jerry Corney was a special, generous and dependable man and he will be deeply missed by his brother, his children, step-children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
