"Hockey brings Canadians together from coast-to-coast," Ron Maclean, long- time sportscaster, said. "It allows us to imagine new possibilities and share the stories that unite the country." The tour will make 25 stops throughout the NHL season. "It's exciting and we are proud," Mayor Rick Bonnette said. The free, family-friendly celebration features two days of live entertainment, NHL alumni, local celebrities, and hockey- themed activities for all ages. The festival culminates with an outdoor viewing party of an NHL game broadcast hosted live by Ron MacLean and Tara Slone on Sportsnet.
