ServiceOntario contact: Suzanne Fontaine, Senior Business Advisor, 807-620-9664 Enjoy an evening of sophisticated com- edy with the Georgetown Little Theatre at its upcoming production of Ring Round the Moon. The show, which is an adaptation by English dramatist Christopher Fry of Jean Anouilh's Invitation to the Castle, is set to kick off this weekend at John Elliott Thea- tre. Evening performances will run on Nov. 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9, at 8 p.m., and 2 p.m. matinees will take place on Nov. 3 and 10. Director Jill Pike describes the play as a "touching comedy" that takes place over an evening at an aristocratic ball in the French countryside. The performance tells the story of two young twin brothers, Hugo and Frederic, who are completely op- posite in nature. "In an attempt to save his brother from a loveless marriage, Hugo has cracked a scheme to distract Frederic from his bride- to-be, Lady Diana, a rich heiress who is se- cretly in love with Hugo," explains Pike. "Little does Hugo expect, the crux of his plan will be the very thing which unravels it." Tickets cost $26 for adults, $22 for se- niors and $5 for students (with valid ID) and can be purchased at haltonhills.ca/ theatre or by calling 905-877-3700. The the- atre group is currently offering a promo code, MOON19, that can be used online or at the box office to receive $5 off. For more information, visit george- townlittletheatre.ca.
