Due to increasing rising costs an entry fee of $75.00 would be greatly appreciated Remembrance Day is close at hand - a time to ho- nour those who served, fought and, in many cases, paid the ultimate price for the freedom we enjoy to- day. Here's a look at the Re- membrance Day services coming up in Halton Hills. ACTON REMEMBRANCE DAY PARADE Saturday, Nov. 9 at 10:30 a.m. The parade will begin at the Olde Hide House (49 Eastern Ave.) and make its way to the Cenotaph (56-70 Mill St.). ACTON REMEMBRANCE DAY SERVICE Monday, Nov. 11 at 10:45 a.m. A short march to the Cenotaph (56-70 Mill St.) will be followed by two minutes of silence at 11 a.m. Local students will join in the ceremony. GEORGETOWN REMEM- BRANCE DAY SERVICE Sunday, Nov. 10 at 10:30 a.m. The parade will go from the Royal Canadian Legion Georgetown Branch (127 Mill St.) to Remembrance Park (29 James St.). The service follows at 11 a.m. GLEN WILLIAMS REMEM- BRANCE DAY SERVICE Sunday, Nov. 10 at 1:30 p.m. March from Glen Wil- liams School (512 Main St.) to Cenotaph at the corner of Main and Confederation streets.
