Handsome Ollie Besides being a very handsome cat, Ollie is sociable - he just loves people and attention. He had some mild urinary problems in the past, but that has been addressed with the appropriate diet. As long as he is fed a urinary diet (wet and dry food), he is fine and has no other health issues. He is two years old, neutered and is a happy boy who will settle well into a new family. Due to the COVD-19 pandemic, the shelter is closed for regular visits, but an appointment can be made to meet Ollie. If you think you are the right family for him, please call the Upper Credit Humane Society Shelter at 519-833-2287 to make an appointment. Ollie UPPER CREDIT HUMANE SOCIETY submitted photo submitted photo Adopt A pEt Fred - A Simple Cat Fred is a simple cat. He enjoys a good meal, a few toys, getting brushed, a clean litter box and people to snuggle him. He is content in his foster home but Fred is longing to put down roots with his own family. There is no need to put the family treasures away, Fred is a low energy cat. He gently plays with his toys on the floor with the occasional burst of energy. Fred also plays nicely with other cats, respecting their claims on toys and their personal space. He passively interactswithpeopleandwillwiggle away when play time is over. Fred has a luxurious medium / long coat that will require brushing to stay smooth and glossy. He co-operates by rolling around to ensure he is brushed everywhere. While he is absorbing all this attention, his nails are easily trimmed. Fred would be perfect in a quieter home or with first time cat owners. He is content to eat his food and does not pester people for their food. He listens and will get down or leave when asked to. Older cats would not find him threatening and he would easily accept an older dog. For more information visit www. NHKR.ca or call Barb 905-873- 8547.
