We do miss our social dinners, Friday lunches and the camaraderie of events at the centre - even the social side of having a coffee and chatting to other people. Slowly things are being re- scheduled, with smaller groups of people participat- ing. Did you know that the reading library is in the en- tranceway with a selection of books, videos and puzzles for you to borrow? And yes, you can add your loonie to the 50/50 draw. Check at the reception desk. Supervisor Wendy Krev- er and administrative assis- tant Michelle Durham have done an amazing job of keeping us informed and working through some very difficult times. Due to the closure of Hillsview Active Living Centre, the sched- uled annual general meet- ing was cancelled and all members were given the op- portunity to vote via email for two amendments to the constitution and three two- year term board positions. Sue Vallance will be re- ception chair (was member at large) and Joyce Farmer will be program chair (sec- ond term).The funding chair and vice-president po- sitions are still vacant.
