More and more we are opening the centre. Active Living programs have start- ed, but with only 12 partici- pants per class. Registration for these classes went well. Nonmem- bers are welcome as well in Active Living classes. You will find these listed on our website: www.halton- hills.ca/50plus. Shelley is back for hot Monday lunches. They will be served in takeout con- tainers with tea or coffee for $5.00. You must pay at recep- tion, wear a mask and re- member to socially distance while waiting for your meal. The visual arts room will be set up for eight people to eat in if that is your prefer- ence. Please call if you wish to purchase a lunch. You will be checked in and screened upon arrival to the Centre. Café hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from Monday to Friday and will offer coffee/tea, cookies, pop and cups of soup. All café purchases must be purchased at recep- tion. We have brought back the 50/50 draw, and for the sum of a toonie you have a chance to become a wealthy senior. This is open to members on- ly. Begins each week on Monday and the draw is made on Friday. Carpet bowling is back on Monday and Friday morn- ing. You will need to register by calling the centre in ad- vance of the day you wish to bowl. You may bowl only one of the two days. Our Seniors' Band has re- turned. They will be sharing their music on Tuesday af- ternoons.
