Georgetown's trusted choice for hearing care 360 Guelph St., Unit 44 Georgetown (In the Knolcrest Centre) 905.877.8828 FREE consultation 90 day RISK FREE trial Armstrong Ave Delrex Blvd As many of you are aware, we have said fare- well to Terri our centre di- rector for 12 years. She is off to pursue her career as fa- cility manager at the Gell- ert Centre. As she said, you can al- ways drop by and say hello. It is always hard to say goodbye to someone we have all come to know so well. We will miss her toss of the red hair, her laughter and her friendliness. She has left big shoes to fill. Terri, we wish you all the best in your new posi- tion and have no doubt you will make us proud. As of Monday (Oct.19), due to increase cases of CO- VID-19, the Town has closed down all Active Living Pro- grams. The Centre will re- main open for all other groups such as Crafts, Min- gle and Chat, etc.You can pick up a copy of the Hills- view magazine for Novem- ber. December and January at the Centre the first week of November. Please call to ensure the Newsletter is available. The Hillsview Active Living Centre is a charita- ble organization depending on assistance from the Town, membership fees and fundraisers to keep this facility the place you have grown to depend on. For seniors, it is vital to have that place we can go to for socializing and exercis- ing and for over 750 of us this is that place. We thank you all for your support and hope that you will continue to do so in whatever way you are able. I have been asked to re- mind you that the centre is located at 318 Guelph St., Unit 9 (at back of building). We are open Monday to Fri- day, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Our tele- phone number is (905) 877- 6444. Masks and social dis- tancing are required. We are not forgetting Christmas. Look for infor- mation to come regarding a Christmas auction and pen- ny sale to run from Nov.1 to Dec. 10, plus the annual Christmas turkey dinner. Yes we are going to serve dinner. It will be a drive- thru pick up and take home to eat. Check your emails for more information as to date, time and cost.
