Proposed 2021 Rates & Fees It's that time of year when the jolly old man in red visits Acton -- but this year will look a little different. The Acton Firefighters Association (AFFA) is hosting a drive-by visit with San- ta on Nov. 21 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. The event, to be held in the Acton High School parking lot, will see cars drive through and interact with Santa and his helpers in a physically distanced fashion. Those who attend are encouraged to dress up, decorate their vehicles and show Santa their festive spirit. Letters for Santa can be dropped off at the event in marked bins and will be deliv- ered to the North Pole by Canada Post. Event volunteers will also be accepting non-perishable items for the local food bank, along with new, unwrapped toy or gift card donations for the annual toy drive. Any donations made to the AFFA will be used to support future community events. As Santa will be leaving by 4 p.m. sharp, the association is asking visitors to arrive early and continue moving so that every- one has a chance to pass through. Masks are required, and visitors must remain in their vehicles at all times.
