The Town of Halton Hills has received multiple accolades for its leadership role in energy consump- tion and mitigating climate change. The Town was recog- nized during the 2020 May- ors' Megawatt Challenge Forum -- including an in- duction into the "10 Per Cent Club" -- for lowering energy use by 10 per cent since 2018 at the District 1 fire station.
