A new exhibition at the Halton Hills Cultural Cen- tre might help shoppers find locally made gifts by Halton Hills artists and ar- tisans. The annual Holiday Show and Sale, which opened at the Sisnett Lob- by at the cultural centre on Dec. 1, features a selection of works in a variety of me- diums. "I absolutely want to en- courage our residents to stay home as much as pos- sible," Mayor Rick Bon- nette said. "However, we all want to support local businesses and our local artisans, so my ask to the community is to plan your visit carefully, use curbside or contactless pickup if available, wear a mask, practise physical distancing and purchase that special, one-of-a-kind gift that you can only find here in Town." The Cultural Centre is located at 9 Church St. in Georgetown. The show runs until Jan. 10. Selections from the show can be viewed online at the Helson Gallery's website.
