Werner lived most of his life in Georgetown where his Chelvin Drive neighbours will remember him for walking his dog around the neighbourhood and stopping to chat. He had a joy for entertaining with a glass of wine or scotch, a love for cooking and was quick to whip up a meal on the BBQ for anyone who dropped in. He loved to golf and spent many hours with his friends at the Erin Heights Golf Club. Werner will always be remembered for his infectious laugh, his generous welcoming heart and his kindness to anyone who needed a place to stay. A private family gathering has been arranged. He was the husband and best friend of Diane Elizabeth Stratford for almost 40 years. He was the eldest son of deceased John and Diana Stratford of Brantford. He was the son-in-law of deceased Floyd and Elsie Blake. He is survived by his brother Gordon (Lyn), John (Carolyn). His brothers-in-law William Blake (Margaret), Robert Blake (Donna), Frederick Blake (Dana) and sisters-in-law Brenda Paine (Phil) and Caroline Blake and several nieces and nephews. He was a Ham Radio operator and now his call sign VE3 FHM is silenced. He taught at Sheridan College in Brampton Ontario. His eyes were donated for transplant, so someone can see the rainbow. He was loved by all who knew him and he will be missed. Thank you to all the first responders who tried to help revive Graham.
